Trip capacity is the maximum number of trips for a given transportation mode through the vision extent. It is estimated by assuming that all of the transportation ecosystems of a given type are collected together in a strip which crosses the vision extent, assuming the vision extent were square in shape. We make these assumptions because Mannahatta2409.org (version 1) does not take into account the arrangement of ecosystems, only the area of each ecosystem type. Trip capacity is estimated as the number of person trips each year per mode.
